For its unique shape and position Croatia is an ideal destination that can offer a whole year round vacation.

It stretches from the easternmost edges of the Alps on the north-west to Panonian Valley and the coast of the Danube on the east. The central part includes mountain region of the Dinara, and the southern part ends o the coast of the Adriatic sea. It has two main climate zones: in the continental part prevails moderate continental climate, at parts mountain climate and along Adriatic coast Mediterranean climate zone with hot and dry summers and mild winters.

The Croatian coast is well indented, with numerous coves, islands and islets, and the sea is crystal clear, perfect for boat-cruises and all kinds of sport and recreation on or underwater.

A unique country, although small in size abounds in differences and it is very hard to name or precisely define it as Mediterranean or European. In architecture, living culture and even gastronomy there are many layers of visible and invisible influences of many cultures which for thousand of years switched places and melted together in these areas.
