Once a fishermen’s village, Medulin today  represents one of the most important destinations in Istria. The coast is low, sandy and indented. Special attraction is archipelago of Medulin consisting of ten islands and a coastal phenomenon called primosten or tombolo. The most famous Medulin beach is sandy beach Bijeca, one kilometre long, idela for families with small children.
