Riviera Opatija is situated in the foothill of mountain Učka. It is composed of string of towns and settlements with Opatija as a leading and most elite destination. Opatija is the cradle of Croatian tourism (beginning dating back to 1844.). The sea promenade connects it with Volosko, Ika, Icici, Lovran, Medveja and Moscenicka Draga.
