Kastel Stari
Picturesque Kastel Stari is the oldest of seven settlements placed on the beautiful coastline between Trogir and Split.
The settlement first developed on fertile flatland suitable for the growing of grapes and fruit. Due to its splendid beaches, Croatian aristocrats built many summer residences and fortifications in Kastel Stari in the 15th century.
