| Middle Dalmatia region is most proud of its indented coast with numerous islands, coves and beautiful beaches. Every coastal part stands out with something specific: sights, gastronomy, customs or beautiful nature. This region has two locations inscribed in World heritage list by UNESCO: Romanic town of Trogir and Diocletian's palace in Split. Many historical sites, old fishermen's towns and outstanding natural beauties are just a few reasons why you should choose this region for your vacation on Adriatic. But it's not just the coast, Middle Dalmatia has interesting hinterland with a lot to show (natural phenomenon Blue and Red lake, Vranjaca cave...).
Center of the region is in Split which is very well connected with beautiful middle Dalmatian islands. |
